Marshall Charloff & The Purple xPeRIeNCE is the world’s premier tribute to PRINCE, celebrating 16 years of bringing the music, musicianship, and electrifying showmanship of Prince to audiences around the world.
The group was co-founded in the “Purple Mecca” of Minneapolis in 2011 by Marshall Charloff and Matt “Doctor” Fink, keyboardist for Prince & The Revolution. Their vision was clear from the beginning: to honor Prince at the highest possible level, with exceptional musicians performing his music 100% LIVE and completely untracked, while paying respectful visual homage through costuming and likeness.
The result quickly earned the admiration of even the most discerning Prince fans. Over 16 years of nationwide and international touring and performances for more than one million fans, Marshall Charloff & The Purple xPeRIeNCE have established themselves at the pinnacle of the tribute world—setting the standard for what a Prince tribute can and should be.
At the center of the experience is Marshall Charloff—an extraordinary vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and showman who moves effortlessly between vocals, guitar, piano, and bass. Backed by a phenomenal band of Minneapolis all-star musicians, Marshall delivers the music of Prince with the musicianship, energy, and spontaneity that can only come from a truly live performance.
That distinction remains at the heart of The Purple xPeRIeNCE: 100% LIVE. Never tracked. Real musicianship.
From fronting many of the nation’s top symphony orchestras to headlining Red Rocks Amphitheatre and starring in his own one-man Las Vegas residency, Marshall Charloff has established himself as the world’s premier Prince tribute artist.
Marshall sings it. Plays it. Commands the stage.
