Summer 2021

SUMMER CAMP IS BACK! Campers are split into age appropriate "pods" that stay safely in their classrooms while instructors rotate bringing fun activities designed just for them in singing, dancing, acting, performing, and more! Each session culminates in a fully designed production, in which EVERY camper participates.

How To Register:

  • Register online OR download & print the Registration Form below and email your completed copy to NextStopBroadwayCS@gmail.com
  • After submitting your completed Registration Form, you will be contacted by the Box Office to set up a payment plan. 
  • ALL FAMILIES must submit completed Medical, Sign Out, & Covid Protocol Forms before the start of camp.

Youth Camp (Ages 7-13)

Campers stay safely separated into age-appropriate Pods throughout their camp experience participating in fun & exciting curriculum designed and facilitated by their Pod’s Instructors. They are visited daily by the Production team, learning their group scenes, songs, and dances. The Activities Director also visits bringing camper’s tasks for Spirit Rallies, Dress Up Days, etc. The camper's day is jam packed and extremely active while learning and participating in every class. Pods also safely rotate to the theater and lunch area.

Session 1 • SEUSSICAL • June 14–July 2

Logo-SeussicalSeussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Bringing to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Seussical is fun for the whole family! Performers of all ages will be excited to portray the characters from the familiar Dr. Seuss fables.

Session 2 • YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN • July 6–July 23

Logo-CharlieWith charm, wit, and heart, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, includes musical numbers like "My Blanket and Me," "The Kite," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness." Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!

Session 3 • THE LITTLE MERMAID • July 26–August 13 (Sold Out)

logo_mermaidBased on the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. This fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World." Join us in performing one of the most beloved stories of all time with some of the best-known songs from the past 30 years.

Pods are arranged by campers age/birth date. Shortly before the start of a session, families will be sent an email stating their campers pod placement, instructors, and group color. Session 1 Pod assignments will be emailed on Thursday, June 10. 

Arrival & Dismissal Times

Please Note: To ensure the safety of campers and staff, each Pod has their own allotted arrival and dismissal time. Siblings attending camp can arrive and dismiss at the same time, utlizing the time of the younger sibling.

  • Arrival: 8:40am
  • Dismissal: 3:40pm

Pod 2: Orange

  • Arrival: 8:50am
  • Dismissal: 3:50pm

Pod 3: Yellow

  • Arrival: 9:00am
  • Dismissal: 4:00pm

Pod 4: Green

  • Arrival: 9:10am
  • Dismissal: 4:10pm

Pod 5: Blue

  • Arrival: 9:20am
  • Dismissal: 4:20pm

Lunch Program

Our lunch program offers high-quality prepackaged, and safely prepared food at reasonable prices. The camper's Pod rotates daily to the lunch area outside in the tented/air-circulated courtyard where they safely distance themselves sitting comfortably at large tables. Each lunch period is approx 20 minutes long, allowing enough time to eat and clean up. The lunch program is always an option for families as an alternative to bringing their lunch from home.

  • Tuesday: Jimmy John's Sandwiches (Turkey & Cheese or Ham & Cheese)
  • Wednesday: Hebrew National Hot Dogs (x2)
  • Thursday: Doris' Spaghetti with Tossed Salad
  • Friday: Doris' Chicken Tenders with Carrots & Celery

Peanut Butter & Jelly also offered as a daily option

When & Where

Campers are placed into Pods based, in part, on their age. The Pod rotates to the tented and air-circulated Courtyard where they comfortably sit, socially distanced at large tables. Campers will eat in the Theater Lobby as a rain alternative.  Each lunch period is about 20 minutes long, allowing enough time to eat and clean up.


Snack Intermission - 2 Times Daily. Either bring from home or purchase items from the Concessions Department ($2/each).

Mid-Morning Snacks: "Parent friendly” options containing healthy snacks

Afternoon Snacks: "Campers choice” options with popular treats. To be purchased during Lunch rotation.


Lunch is $8 per day. This includes the lunch of the day and a drink.

Full week of lunch: $40 

How/Where Do I Pay?

Every camp day, lunch forms are collected at the Lunch Table in the Courtyard. You can also email completed forms to arizzuto@coralsprings.org. You must turn in/email the form by 9:30am same-day to order from the full menu.

All payments and lunch forms must be handed ONLY to the Lunch Supervisor who will be in the Courtyard from 8:40am-9:30am every morning. In order to avoid late or lost forms, please do not give money or lunch forms to any Pod instructor, the NSB Office, or the Box Office. If you give your child a form to bring in, please make sure they go directly to the lunch table in the Courtyard as soon as they arrive. If you have any questions or concerns the Lunch Supervisor can be reached daily at 954-340-5006 between 9:30am and 3pm.

Extended Care

Extended Care is a safe, well-supervised independent playtime for our Youth Campers; it is not an extension of our day’s curriculum. Extended care takes place in the Courtyard under the air-circulated tent. Payment for Extended Care must be paid by 6:00pm the day prior to reserve your spot. Payments made through the Box Office. Daily rate for Extended Care is non-transferable.

  • Extended Care - $15 per day
  • Includes Pre-Care (8:00-9:00am) & After Care (4:00-6:00pm)

Shop everything from T-shirts to hats, bags, and water bottles! Order your 2021 summer swag NOW! Items will be available for pick up starting June 14 and can be delivered directly to campers.


Activities Department

Next Stop Broadway offers our campers a plethora of opportunities to perform and allow for their talents to shine! The Activities Department rotates to all Pods daily where they will safely participate in multiple group competitions, talent shows, and other fun and exciting activities seperate from the Sessions production. 

Spirit Rallies

A weekly Friday event occuring every non-show week at 2pm in the Theater.  An all out camp pep rally featuring performances for campers by campers. Every year features brand new, exciting themes that are sure to make everyone feel like the superstar they truly are. Group winners of each rally will receive an ice cream party at lunch! Please note - due to building restrictions, families are not to attend the live Spirit Rally shows. Performances will be recorded and included in the session's Digital Show File. This summer's themes are as follows:

Dress Up Days

If it’s a Wednesday, then it must be dress up day! This summer we present a fresh new batch of dress up day themes that are sure to entertain and unite the camp. All themes can be accessible through you and your family’s closets! Two winners from each group will be chosen, and featured in the Dress Up Day music video, in addition to receiving a special certificate. The wackier & more imaginative, the better! This summer's dress up days are as follows:

Talent Extravaganza

Every Friday morning on the last day of each sessoin, we will showcase the very best talent our campers have to offer. Campers will compete in an array of competitions throughout the session, and the winners will get to perform their pieces as an opening act for the Friday evening performance. Some of the competitions are as follows:

  • Next Stop Broadway Idol – Like the popular TV show, this singing competition will start with an audition process open to all campers. You can audition as a solo act, a duo, or as a group. Throughout the session, the competition is narrowed down to one act representing each group, who will compete in the NSB Talent Extravaganza finale show.
  • Next Stop Broadway’s Got Talent – Musicians, magicians, dancers, and more! Each spirit rally and NSB Talent Extravaganza competition will feature performances completely created by you. Auditions will be held weekly during the Activities rotation.
  • Next Stop Broadway Film Festival/Tik Toks – Campers can submit 2-minute-or-less video’s or Tik Tok to be featured in our Spirt Rallies and Extravaganza. 

Teen Theatre Project (Ages 14+)

The Teen Theatre Project is the complete, pre-professional experience for aspiring performers. Set in a safe & encouraging environment where EVERYONE participates in the creation of the fully designed production. Participants will submit a virtual audition prior to the start of the Teen Project so that show preparations can begin on day one. Led by our all-star staff, the Teen Project is the perfect vehicle for young performers to advance their skills, build confidence, and perform on stage!

Teen Theatre Project • RENT • July 12-August 7

Logo-RentSet in the East Village of New York City, Rent is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent has become a pop cultural phenomenon with songs that rock and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages. This is theatre at its best – exuberant, passionate and joyous. Viva La Vie Boheme!

  • Weeks 1-3: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-7:30pm
  • Week 4: Monday-Friday 4:30pm-9:30pm
  • Show Dates: Saturday, August 7 at 2pm & 6pm

Covid Protocol

A Critical component of NSB’s return is following all Center of Disease Control (CDC) and Department of Children and Families (DCF) guidelines to ensure providing a safe environment for our students and staff.

  • Camp participation is limited to 125 Youth campers in each session and 25 teen Project students. Youth campers are then separated into age-appropriate Pods of 25 campers each to assure safety and reduce possible exposure to the virus.
  • All Campers and Staff members will wear masks at all times.
  • All Campers and Staff members will have their temperature taken and hands sanitized upon entrance to the facility.
  • All Campers arrive and depart at their own Pod’s designated time allowing safety and social distancing to be enforced.
  • All rooms, areas and items are sanitized regularly to assure all CDC safety protocols are in place.
  • There are no shared items. All campers must bring with them a bag with masks, hand sanitizer, tissues, bottled water, pencils. And all other needed items required for class.
  • Social Distancing will be enforced in all classrooms (this means no physical contact between instructors to campers and campers to campers)
  • To limit exposure only registered students and staff are permitted into classroom area – Parents are requested to limit their time on site and plan to come on campus between the hours of 9:40am-3:20pm.

Prior to Attending Next Stop Broadway

  • Take your child’s temperature every night for the 7 days leading up to camp and periodically while attending camp thereafter: log this for your own personal use. If your child has a temperature of 100.4 F or higher for any of those days, contact us in advance. Please also check other family members’ temperatures as well to ensure optimum health on the first day they attend NSB.
  • To ensure your child's safety, you should reinforce proper hand washing techniques and the avoidance of face touching. Also discuss the need to stay at a comfortable distance from everyone.
  • All families must submit the mandatory Medical, Covid Protocol, & Release Forms which must be returned via email prior to child attending camp.  
  • All registrations, and tuition payments should be done in advance which will help to limit the amount of person-to-person contact when checking in and signing our campers. 

During Camp

All Campers arrive and depart at their own Pod’s designated time allowing safety and social distancing to be enforced.

All parents are to remain in their vehicles when dropping off and picking up children.

  • Dropping Off: Remain in your car and drive as far forward as possible in the front entrance driving loop and a Staff member will greet you to check student’s temperature and sign them in (Please Note: If your child has a temperature of 100.4 F or higher, they will not be allowed to attend class that day). Please be sure your child is masked and another staff member will greet your child as they sanitize their hands and then lead them to their Pod’s classroom.

Older students who are arriving on their own must be masked and will have their temperature checked and hands sanitized before they are allowed to enter the premises.

  • Picking Up:  To assure your child’s safe release, DCF requires, for identification purposes, that a sign must be placed in your passenger window with your child’s name clearly marked. YOU MUST REMAIN IN YOUR CAR and drive as far forward as possible in the front entrance driving loop and a Staff member will escort your child to your car for pick up. If you do not have a Camper Identification sign in your car window you will be required to pull out of the pickup line and park further up to check your ID and have your pickup privileges verified.

Older students may leave the premises on their own unless prior restrictions are reported to the NSB Office.

  • For safety purposes, If there is a reason you need to visit the box office or speak with a staff member, you are limited to the time period of after 9:40am and before 3:30pm. Please use the parking lot to park and walk into the facility, do not leave your car in the front entrance loop.
  • If anyone displays any symptoms of illness, they will be sent home until the they have fully recovered. Symptoms include fever greater than 100.4 F, cough, difficulty with breathing or shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste and smell, etc. All parents will be notified in the event that a child or employee exhibits symptoms.    

After Attending Camp

  • Please wipe down all items your child brings home.
  • Encourage your child to use proper hand washing techniques with soap and water.
  • Periodically check our child’s temperature thought out the week. If your child has a temperature of 100.4 F or higher, they should not plan to attend camp until their temperature is back to normal for 72 hours.
